Tasting Notes
Food Pairing
The fresh and flavorful palate of this sparkling rosé reinforces the delicate and ethereal flavors of firm and fluffy macarons.
This bright, mineral and fruit-forward champagne pairs with excessive amounts of caviar, complimenting its salinity and earthiness.
What more can we say? The ultimate indulgence - rosé champagne, donuts and colorful sprinkles. Life is too short not to celebrate!
COLLABORATION
The collaboration, aptly described as “the pop art of champagne”, celebrates Longshore’s art and compelling message of female empowerment. The limited edition champagne will be available exclusively for purchase online at www.out-east.com while supplies last.
The bottle, released under Out East’s champagne label, À L’EST (meaning Out East in French) showcases Longshore’s signature artwork. The one-of-kind design features a string of pearls and a bluebird inspired by her love of nature. Earning comparisons to Andy Warhol and dubbed “Fashion’s Latest Art Darling” by The New York Times, Longshore has emblazoned the path for pop art and fashion to coexist, and is now extending this palate to the luxury champagne category. Building on past collaborations with Rizzoli, Christofle, Judith Lieber and other leading lifestyle brands, this partnership is a natural progression integrating art and wine and is a celebration of her creativity, effervescence and passion for life.
PARTNERSHIP
From fashionistas and A-list art collectors, to discerning wine aficionados, the exclusive cuvée represents a desire to break boundaries by producing a signature bottle that pairs visually stunning design with best-in-class champagne.
Produced in Épernay, France by renowned champagne house La Maison du Champagne, led by Christophe and Jean Rémy Rapeneau, it features a blend of Pinot Noir (48%), Chardonnay (27%) and Pinot Meunier (25%) grapes from the Sézannais, Côtes de Bar and Marne Valley regions. The dazzling pink champagne has an expressive nose rich with red fruits and a gourmet, well-structured and refreshing palate.
Our champagne is sustainably produced, and certified Haute Valuer Environmental (HVE) - literally High Environmental Value - an official recognition by the French Ministry of Agriculture of the environmental performance of our vineyards and winemaking practices.
This certification offers a guarantee that the pressure applied to the environment by farming practices (on air, water, soil, climate, biodiversity and landscape) is kept to a minimum. Beyond viticultural practices, this label also takes into account the vineyard’s environment and encourages us to have a global agro-environmental reflection.
We are thankful to our winegrowers, cellar managers and production teams for their commitment to environmental sustainability.
